Debbie is a lovely person, but the class overall experienced difficulties. I would recommend taking someone else if you aren't knowledgeable in math already. The class average was a 65% and there is no opportunities for extra credit or anything. I carried a B for most the semester but bombed the exam. Ended with a midrange C.

Worst teacher at BGSU, she does not explain anything well, when you ask her a question she will answer wrong, and then when a student corrects her she is like "oh yeah your right". She is horrible do not take this class, at all costs!

She was the absolute worst teacher I have ever had in math. she is confusing and horriable at explaing concepts. Also she tries to trick you up on test and take home quiz questions. She is the worst teacher and just assumes that if you are in a math education class that you are going to teach math which is not the case for most students.

She is way to picky and shaves points just because she is a point shaver. She turns math content which is fairly easy into really confusing, complicated and frustering stuff. Then she takes questions which you have gotten right and shaves points here and there for her own amusement.

The class should be extremely easy, but she confuses you sometimes. She is very picky on her quizzes and tests. Assigns hw but doesnt grade it, does go over it. She only wears lavender, everything is that color. A little weird, but the class isnt that hard. Just study a little for the test and dont pay attention at times, so you wont become confuse

Can be kind of boring, but always willing to help you out...She assigns homework and will go over it in class, but does not take a grade on it, which is nice. Have to study for quizzes and tests, but she provides good study quides. I have taken Calc and Math for MCE with her and I've done well in both.

Good lectures, sometimes we do in-class activities which are fun and help with the lesson. There is homework almost every night but it isn't graded. The only things graded are take-home tests, mini-projects and exams. I find the class very easy, but I'm really good at math so...
