Really knowledgable,very agreeable personality. His enthusiasm for the subject rubbed off on me and aided me in developing an interest in classic English lit. Sometimes stretched his youthful credibility by attempting to connect English lit with hip-hop,but overall an open-minded and hungry intellect. Good at drawing out themes in class discussion.

Bleck. This was an honors discussion class, but I got very little out of it. Martinek is extremely smart, but when he asks questions, he tends to ramble on using his large vocab and I personally stopped listening after a while. If you have the choice, take forum with Kluthe instead.

This guy has passion for what he teaches. He really gets into it when lecturing about English Literature. There is a lot of work involved in his class, but overall it is fun and he is a very likable kind of guy
