terrible teacher, wasn't clear on what she was teaching, she would get off on tangents all the time, she was always trying to push her view on students, difficult to deal with, extremely rude if you were running late to class, ended up no passing the course but I passed the lab with flying colors

As an incoming freshman, I can honestly say that this teacher is awesome. She's passionate about her job and the only reason some people don't like her is because her class is at 8 AM and where as normal people are still sleepy, she's ready to dive into the notes. She normally teaches the whole hour and doesn't like cellphones, so just keep it off

I took her because of her great ratings on here and regret every second of it. Her notes do NOT help me, yes I go to class, listen, and write down everything she says. she has not been very nice each time I have approached her personally. I'm an A student with a D in the class halfway through the semester. Tests were not from notes.

Mrs. Woods is a great teacher. Her tests come straight from her notes and you do not need the text book to make an A. Go to class to get the notes but if you miss a few it won't kill you. She is very sweet and always helpful. Take her!

Loved her! Tests come straight from the notes. She makes sure that you understand everything, all you have to do is take good notes. She is easy to talk to and ask questions. She hates it if you show up late though! LOVED her! Would take her for all my sciences if I could.

her tests are very easy and come straight from the notes. she gives out alot of chances for bonus points. she tends to talk about evolution alot and is all about saving the enviroment but she is very nice. if you come to class (on time) and take notes you will do fine. dont worry about buying the book. you wont ever use it.

Very easy class. Tests come str8 from the notes. I coulda got an A but didn't study for the first test. Doesn't take roll but randomly gives bonus point assignments. They dont' hurt your grade, only help. DOES NOT TOLERATE YOU BEING TARDY. I would definately suggest her to anyone.

Mrs. Woods is a great teacher. If you go to class, take good notes, and pay attention... you should do wonderful. Her tests are straight from the notes. Coming to class is also important because she randomly has little "bonus point" quiz's. They can only help your grade, not hurt.

Very easy; tests come completely from the notes. Understands that not everyone is a bio major and gives lots of bonus points to help everyone pass. Definitely injects her personal opinions into her lectures though. Be prepared to get an earful about environmentalism/global warming. And don't EVER be late! Overall though, she's pretty good.
