In a crummy department at a crummy college Dr. Pierson was one of the only saving graces of my time there. The subject matter is never dull, he is incredibly enthusiastic about the material and treats every student without any pre determined judgements (which the rest of the department practices frequently). Definitely take any class he offers!

Pierson is awesome. He likes to talk way tooo much, it'll bore you sometimes, but Im naturally a good publc speaker so it wasnt hard. Just make sure you follow his guidelines when making your speech (i did mine the hour before class) haha and received the lowest grade of a B

His class isn't very exciting all of the time, but he's a great teacher and definitely one of my favorites! He's incredibly smart and really understands the material. If you need anything, he's more than willing to help. I definitely recommend his classes.
