Unorganized lecturer. Going to lecture was completely pointless because nothing he covers in lecture is on the exams. You'll have to teach yourself, since he doesn't do squat.

If you have an option to take this class at another college or with another professor, I would take that opportunity. His class was a waste of my time and wasn't worth attending. Lectures were all over the place and he pretty much thought of what he was going to say before he said it. Things on the exam weren't covered in class.

Both the lecture and lab component are amazing. Exams are given on what is discussed in lecture, so taking vital notes is essential. More often than not, the lectures are verbal with some slides and pictures for reference, so be prepared to listen. Reading the textbook inst necessary but can help with some concepts.

Jeff is a wealth of knowledge and will happily answer any questions you have during lecture or via email. Four exams (last is optional), no quizzes. Two research papers that are really easy to complete and help supplement your grade. Tests are designed to make you think rather than regurgitate information and grading scale is very generous.

I love his class! He is an open treasure of knowledge. If you read you will pass. He emphasis the points from the book and will be there when you need him. He is very funny. Its not required to come but its favored. read, read, and read. You won't pass if you don't put work into the class.

Prof Walker is an awful lecturer. He went over keynote slides in class that were bare most of the time with pictures/figs from the textbook directly. He gave out NO reviews, & he was NO help. Very disorganized, he told us it was his 1st time teaching BIO 107 and boy, did it show. If you like structure & like when lectures are USEFUL avoid him!!!!

Jeff is an excellent lecturer, but his tests don't match up with his academic ingenuity. He is a wealth of knowledge who is very passionate about human physiology and always willing to answer questions. Unlike many teachers, Jeff isn't afraid to not know something and encourages his students to research their A&P interests!

If you keep up with the work and study before you come into lecture like he tells you to, you will be fine. He is very very knowledgeable but can be hard to follow at times. Tests are very tough but grading scale is ridiculous.... no reason you shouldn't pass.

Jeff Walker.... like what are you even talking about? You are so intelligent but you have no teaching abilities! The exams are ridiculously hard, and your grading scale changes from semester to semester. Asking for help, does not work... his advise is more confusing then his lectures. Overall the worst teacher you could possibly have.

This is by far the worst class I have ever taken. I would not recommend this professor to anyone unless you are going into graduate medical school. His lectures are pretty much pointless because you cannot even understand what he's talking about and the exams don't cover the lectures. Textbook is helpful. You'll have to teach yourself. NEVER AGAIN!

Look Walker is a great teacher, A&P is just a very extensive subject so incorporating all the information needed is nearly impossible. The content is very interconnected so teaching it linearly, like lecturing, is very difficult. A&P is hard, but Walker does a good job and makes class interesting.

Definitely a nice guy, good sense of humor made class pass along faster. Tests are impossible, but has take-homes in addition to every in class exam that he averages together. Can't say how much I retained from class.

He is extremely knowledgeable about Anatomy and Physiology and clearly enjoys the material. If you learn from a practical/ clinical aspect then he is often difficult to understand. Tests are impossible but he has a great grading scale!

Very good, down to earth teacher. Great grading scale- a 75+ was a B+! Encouraged questions and answered to the greatest extent he could. Admitted when he didn't know an exact answer to something. Gave an optional second final to help improve our grades if we wanted it. VERY easy to talk to and good looking too :)

I strongly recommend Dr. Walker for A&P. Dr. Walker is an amazing professor and his lectures are extremely engaging! He does give difficult tests, but if you are willing to put in the work and prepare out of class you there is no reason why you shouldn't get a good grade and walk away with a strong understanding of the material.

Dr. Walker is a good teacher. His class is hard, but this is college, what do you expect? If it were easy, everyone would do it. He does use a lot of "jargon" but if you're going into the field, you need to know it sooner or later. Tests are difficult because he doesn't spell it out for you what exactly he's going to ask. But neither do sick people
