Awesome professor! He really cares about his students and will go out of his way to ensure you are getting the resources you need and is a geuinely nice guy. He is one of the few professors that will always smile and acknowledge you in the halls. He is super passionate about biology and knows a ton! Highly recommend him. Lectures are interesting.

Dr. Port is really a great professor! He knows his stuff and teaches it well. If you ever have any questions just ask him before and after class and he will get them answered! Any expectations for tests can also be made clear if you just ask. Seriously he is a great resource for the class!

Dr. Port is fantastic. He is clearly passionate about biology, and his lectures are super engaging; I was rarely bored in class. He does tend to ramble a little bit, but his tangents can be kind of entertaining. He will help you if you ask for it. His tests are difficult, but not overwhelming as long as you go to each lecture and take good notes.
