Fantastic teacher! He knows his stuff and is the rare gifted teacher who can actually teach. The Mastering Astronomy online homework is a pain, but the book is really useful and well-written. I will never forget the star party (astronomy lab) we had on a cold night when he bought everyone hot chocolate. We had so much fun!

I decided to take Physical Science my Sophomore year ONLINE because I hated science SO MUCH...BAD IDEA. DON'T DO IT. I am sure Dr. Robertson would be a great teacher in the classroom but I was so lost in his online class. He tried explaining things but I just couldn't catch on. If you can, take it in the classroom.

I love Dr. Robertson. He's so funny and goofy and just really entertaining. I found the class to be really hard, but science isn't my high-point. But I still enjoyed the class because of him. MasteringAstronomy is hell but all of the answers are in the book. His tests are pretty hard. But it takes the sting off doing bad when you like the class.

I came away with "B" on an online course. He grades on a bell curve. So you really cant get a bad grade if you give effort. I wouldnt recommend taking it online if you want to learn. I will not take a natural science online again :o(
