Comment:
Dr. Rudski has a rare combination of being, 1) brilliant 2) highly invested in student success 3) skilled at mentoring students. His comments on student work rivals that of a graduate level. He is a fantastic and innovative professor, and more importantly, is exceptionally kind. His lectures are as entertaining as they are informative. RECOMMEND.

Rudski is great. He is such a funny guy and a good professor. Very good at making class entertaining. Wouldnt be able to survive an 8 am w any other professor. Still wish the class was at 9 or 9:30, but I survive because of his energy and passion for psychology. He makes me want to be there most days. His tests are all writing but pretty fair.

Dr. Rudski is a lovable goofball who is extremely intelligent and cares about his students. He gives interesting examples and tries to relate topics he covers to things that are relevant in his students' lives. He definitely talks fast and goes on a lot of tangents but it's all worth it. Definitely take a class with him before you graduate.

Very nice and respectful prof. He might tease you during class some but it's playful and not meant to be taken seriously. Gives great lectures so I found that the easiest way to learn was not to reread power points but to show up and take good notes. His tests are more like application-based than simply memorization so make sure you know your stuff

Dr. Rudski has proven to me that there are still teachers out there that care about whether or not you learn. He will help you understand material if you go to him. His door is always open, and he is more than happy to talk to you. So far one of the best professors I've had. I can't wait to take more classes with him. Take his intro class!

Dr. Rudski contrary to what other reviews on here say is an amazing teacher. In learning and behavior he explained everything clearly and he would tailor to the needs of our class. His tests are solely based off lecture notes, no book or anything. His tests aren't difficult, just long and require a degree of thinking. Very helpful outside of class!

I took Intro to Psych with Dr. Rudski and I had a really enjoyable experience. He's a very interesting lecturer and doesn't just blandly read off of his powerpoints. His tests are, admittedly, sort of hard. You NEED to study. My class found that study groups really helped prior to tests. He sometimes goes on tangents, but I never minded.

Each of his classes are half learning half comedy, thats how funny and awesome he is. However, I would only take his classes if you are serious about psychology. He will not hesitate to fail you. His tests aren't very hard, but they can be up to 10,000 pages long, literally. One of them took me 4 hours to take (he gives unlimited time), so beware.

If you need structure don't take this class. There is no textbook and you just have to follow his lectures. I found it very difficult and all over the place. Tests are very long and he asks questions in an indirect way..if you don't understand the way he asks the questions it's hopeless.

He expected a lot from his students, but in a way that is very encouraging. He also makes even the boring SPSS lectures fun with his comments and teaching style. Definitely recommended, everyone should take one of his classes.

Such an interesting class, he recognized the limitations of the class and worked within them to provide in depth material that was interesting instead of a sample of everything that resulted in boring memorization for exams. He makes the information fun too with his non-pc style of teaching. Great class, great teacher.

I love Rudski's classes! He's down to earth and highly accessible. He also grants extensions as long as you ask at least 2 days in advance. He uses a lot of examples to explain concepts and will re-explain anything people are confused about. And he's hilarious and fun! Don't take if you get offended easily though! He isn't pc AT ALL!
