He's one the of the profs that you'll wonder how he's got the job in the first place. He does not know the material he is teaching and most of the work is done by his grad students and post docs. You will learn much more on your own.

He doesn't lecture or teach any of the classes. Guest lecturers (profs and grad students) lectured his classes while he's in the back. Classes were also spent conducting lab experiments rather than just giving us data to practice stats with. Each of us had to present our research proposal more than once. You will learn more on your own.

This course could have been interesting, but he just rambles on and on in class. Notes are unclear, assignments are even more unclear. Thank god the TA was good, otherwise I don't think I would have understood any of the assignments. On the plus side, he's a pretty easy marker.

Three weeks into class and I always dwell coming to this class. Notes are all printoff, all he does is underline and draw arrows. Rambles and is extremely confusing. Does not how to keep a class drawn whatsoever. Unfortunately this is a mandatory class for Civil Engineers..

My experience with Dr.H was having him as both a prof for a class, and as an admissions guardian when I tried to transfer credits from another (better rated) University. In both capacities he was EXTREMELY apathetic. I'm not sure what the problem is, but Mr.H just didn't seem to care about me at all, whether I was a prospective, or current student.
