He was not a fantastic teacher to start out with but he was average, then he didn't show up to class for a month straight with 0 warning and when he finally came back he acted as if noting happened and gave us our midterms ( the entire class failed) when we went to confront him the next class day we found out that he quit, we still have no teacher

I LOVE Jeff Swartwood. He is clear and funny. He always provides examples of whatever topic we're talking about to help you remember it better. He's really great and I would take any class possible with him.

Even for an 8:30 class where he doesn't take attendance, the class was always full. I never wanted to miss a class, plus, if you go you get the opportunity for extra credit "tickets" that can be used to raise your grade on a test. He wrote the book himself and it is an easy read, but tons of material. He is too nice to students who are jerks.

attendance is not important, only 2 tests, really listens to what his students need, fair grader, easy class, you dont have to go to pass, just study the text. he sucks at responding to emails though, if you get an average of 85 your getting a damn B , which sucks would take again.

I had his class at 8:30am. He showed up late almost every time one time 15 min late on a test day! You have 20 mc tests after each chapter. Seems like a nice guy, but as a future teacher I learned NOTHING beneficial about education and psych. TRY TO TAKE IT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

Seems like the coolest, put together guy however this semester he seems extremely scatter brained. Gets nothing done or graded, is very nice but teaches you practically nothing. If you're interested in learning don't take this class.

This class was not difficult but it was extremely annoying. There's a research paper and multiple essay questions that sometimes don't make sense. I guess because I took it over the summer time, the 5 page research paper was beyond annoying to me. Other than being sarcastic via email when he was wrong, the class was pretty okay.

online winter session. very sweet, always there to help, and very reasonable amount of work for a two week course - it took only an hour out of my day to do the questions and take the tests and i got an A. he does have a research paper though so that takes a little time. otherwise, so great, would take him again!

Dr. Swartwood is an awesome professor! I was an accounting major in my senior year but after taking his class I've switched my major to Psychology (which means I'll be in school for another 2 years but it's SO worth it!). I honestly didn't know who I was until I took this class! I recommend this class to everyone!!

Took Learning with Jeff. What a great class and a great professor. For a tough class, it is probably the one I'll remember the most. It is what I thought college would be.
