Smart guy. A lot of content to take in and he rambles a lot about trump. Quizzes every class but theyre easy if you do the readings. You get a new reading almost every class and its usually about 20-30 pages of dense material. Essay Exams are hard too. I like the professor not the class

It was definitely the hardest class I've taken throughout college, but I definitely learned a lot. The material is based on a 1 or 2 long readings every week, but you have to go to class to know which parts he really wants emphasized on the exams. Exams were long essay tests that were graded harshly, but with a significant curve. Very passionate.

Staying on top of the readings and participating in class are crucial. Exams are 1 long and 4 short essays, lots complain about this format but its better than the mundane MC one. Readings are long and subject matter is dry but he makes class interactive so you'll look forward to attending.

Worsham's 240 class was easily my favorite of the semester! The subject material was dry, but he did a great job of holding the attention of his students. Quizzes are given every class period, but as long as you stay on top of readings this shouldn't be a problem. The tests were very difficult - you basically had to memorize your notes to pass.

Do not take this class for an easy A or B. It is an extremely challenging course, that requires more studying at the intro level than most 300 level classes. He is very smart, but sometimes makes simple things more complicated than need be. Make sure you are in class taking notes or you are screwed.

Dr. Worsham is a great professor. He really knows what he is talking about. I you go to class, do the readings, actually study... you'll be fine. I did all of those things and was able to pull of an A

If you plan on taking 240 this man is extremely knowledgable and you will learn a lot. However, plan on reading over 100 pages a week and dedicating at least 2 weeks of studying per test. (I'm not kidding) My advice: record the lectures, do the reading, study-- without all 3 you WILL fail. if you aren't up for his challenge, try 230.

Very Knowledgeable (and oddly passionate)concerning political science, but has terrible delivery. He mumbles through his lectures, giving laundry lists and leaves it up to the TA's to interpret his ramblings. He gets off topic constantly with highly partisan opinions and unfunny jokes. Lots of knowledge doesn't necessarily make a good teacher.

Great lectures, takes his teachings seriously though. Don't take his class if you're looking for an easy A for a GEC requirement.

This was easily one of the hardest college courses I've taken so far. I studied more for this class than any of my other classes, and I still got a C. He jumped around a lot and I never knew what he was talking about. Tests were even harder, and the grading method was very unclear.

He is a very bad professor, very hard to understand. He mumbles the WHOLE lecture on nothing about the topic and makes no sense during them. The outlines he puts up makes things even worse and confuses us all way more. Ill be lucky to pass the class this semester! thank god for TA's because without them i wouldnt understand a thing he says.

Terrible. Talks too fast and too soft, it's very unclear. Too repetitive. I want to rip my hair out everytime I go to class. Tests are hard. I used to be interested in politcal science, but now, NO WAY!

I had to work really hard in this class to get an A. Attendance isn't mandatory but there is no way you're going to pass the tests if you don't go. Test's are multiple choice, half from the lecture and half from the reading. He digresses A LOT so go to your section and your TA will help sort out the info you need from the ramblings.

Worsham rules! That guy cracks me up. I knew he was cool when he strolled in Day 1 in Birkenstocks and shorts. This guy knows his stuff, nobody can touch his knowledge on politics. If you do what you need to do, you should be all good.

This class is really difficult lots of readings and he gives quizes on most of the readings. All the exams are essay and there is alot of material to cover. I think aboout 8 people dropped the class after the first exam, that was out of maybe 20 or 25 people. I have probaly learned more in this class than any other and would take him again.

Giving students essay tests in which they must answer verbatim to what is discussed in class makes the class more stressful than interesting. Should find a way to make a dull subject more interesting!!!
