He is The reason I wont be able to achieve my goal of being an Accountant Im moving to Mangment he is ridiculously difficult for no real reason other than he is a bitter guy. I might could have stood a fighting chance in his class but I did not have the textbook the first week because of shipping time and that put me back to much

The worst teacher I have ever had the displeasure of taking here on this campus, purposefully difficult, lots of double edged sword questions even multiple choice are decimal differences, essay questions practically must be verbatim to his answers on the discussion board, above all extremely unhelpful to any and all students no bias though.

Tests can be difficult if you don't attend class. He models his tests after his PPTs and says during class of what's important, so do PPT slides with notes. Read the book to reinforce the material. He's very helpful but expects you to learn and won't give you answers or study guides but will happily explain why or why not and TEST FROM PPTs!

He doesn't give lectures for the Online MBA course. Only 4 tests with no other available grades. He must think that every student is heavily familiar with Accounting and will use it daily in their careers, well we know that's false. You must memorize everything from formulas to terminology. JSU failed at having him as the only option.

He only gives 4 tests for the whole semester and offers nothing else for grades. He gives optional discussion questions which a couple that will be on the test. His tests are long and difficult. I am dropping his class to try to take it with another teacher, only to find out he is the only "teacher" who teaches it. will take somewhere else instead.

Multiple choice counts for over 75% of each test grade, he doesn't go out ver any of it or give study guide so you will have to look over 150 slides and think about potential questions

Prides himself on students dropping or failing his class, tests are filled with double edged swords and purposely convoluted questions. Stick to the power points and prior to tests he will give information on what will be on the tests, make sure your study time is heavy on the problems (75% of grade) and less on the discussion (25% of grade)

He was one of the toughest professors I have taken at JSU. He is the reason I decided I did not want to be an accountant anymore. He only gives 3 tests the entire semester including the final. Would not recommend to take him to anyone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

3 exams, each worth 200 points. 30 multiple choice worth 150, Short answer and Journal entries worth 50. The short answers require about a paragraph answer to answer it. Oh and you better answer it exactly how he wants or points WILL be deducted. Homework is available for 100 points. Hardest "teacher" I've ever taken. First B I've ever made. Avoid.

He is very nice, but the class was hard. It was a lot of material to learn, and was difficult. He is very specific on the answers that he looks for on the quizzes and tests. This class required a lot of studying, and it was a hard A to earn.

His classes are definitely a challenge, however, he gives you weekly quizes that keep you up to date with the material. His discussion boards are exactly what are on the test. You need to read the chapters to assist you on the test. For future purposes, his auditing class is a GREAT prep for the CPA exam. Good investment.

Ok, so he is hard, but he will tell u exactly what's gonna be on the test. I took him for my first accounting class as a graduate student after I haven't taken any accounting classes since my junior year in college and I made an A. GO to class, answer his discussion board questions and work the sample problems over and over again.Guaranteed A.

Great guy. He will help you out as best as he can. I found this class hard because there is so much information. The exams are multiple choice and short answer. For Short answer he gives it on discussion board, so you are expected to memorize. This is college.

Talks way over your head. He has his Ph.D and talks to the class as if they have one too. He is way to particular about answering his questions. You have to memorize all discussion. Gives you no credit for your ideas! However, he is the only option for this class =( Study Hard!!!! This class was my first B EVER!

This guy shouldn't be teaching an accounting course. He has no real world experience, and will tell you this during his class. He has a PhD, but when you ask him a question, he always says "i'm not sure about that, but I did a project on it once....."
