Choral is the simpilist class. you dont hav to have any singing talent to do well in this class. he will place you in teh proper section for your singing voice and you simply sing the songs. he will not make you sing alone at any time (unless u volunteer for a solo). it's one of the few classes i dont mind going to. he does take attendance

Dr. Sposato's Intro to Western Music was ridiculous for the amount of work he expected us to do. This is supposed to be an introductory, 3 credit class and the work is that of an upper level 4 credit class. Expect to spend up to 3 hours per assignment. Although knowledgeable about music, he's boring and critical when you give a wrong answer.

The way I listen to music now has totally changed. I thought this class would be ridiculous, but if you actually make somewhat of an effort to take notes, the exams are easy. He gives you review sheets and is a pretty easy grader!

chorale... BORING till you learn the music... but i loved it.. the concerts are fun, i love music, the Musical was AMAZING, but he wasnt directly involved with the production.. but the class was a good time, made great friends, he never got angry, he loved us.. and i hated the music at first, but then when it comes together, it sounds great..

He is a difficult teacher, but it's college and he expects you to be college students which makes some people upset... The great thing about Dr. S. is that if you need help he goes way way out of his way to make sure you understand and are doing well. Just remember he expects alot but again this is college and they are supposed to expect alot.
