I took Goldfarb's class on Erving Goffman and it was one of the top 3 classes I took for my master's degree in sociology. We read all of Goffman's books and had deep, detailed conversations about what Goffman was trying to say. Now when I teach Goffman to my students I feel very confident in my ability to relay Goffman's ideas to my class.
