He's a great professor. Very knowledgeable, understanding, and cares about his students. I personally did not like his method of always making us draw and write every class period. You will learn from your peers' experiences more than from the professor just because the class is not lecture-based. I don't enjoy this method and wouldn't take again.

Amazing professor and person! Includes every student. He gives a good amount of grades but is more concerned about your growth than the letter. He is very willing to work with anyone and is extremely understand. Would take again!

Dr. Kaplan is a very helpful professor and adviser. He's made it more than obvious that ANYONE can come and speak with him about whatever they may need help with. I've visited his office several times and he's helped me figure out classes. He really does care about the success of his students. This in turn, teaches me how to be a caring teacher.

This professor is definitely not my cup of tea. Bring your phone, a book you are reading, homework, anything. He is SO boring and the work is pointless. I feel like a five year old. He asks about your weekend but his face shows absolutely no interest. He's trying to care but obviously doesn't. Also, don't wait on the folder! You'll regret it!!

Dr. Kaplan was a great professor. A ton of work if you want an A in the class but if you start early and turn in work as you go, it is not so bad. He does not give due dates for assignments. Just turn them in when you finish and turn in a portfolio on the last night. Most of the class is spent talking, coloring, and presenting. Very enjoyable!

One of the most comprehensive and enjoyable classes I've ever experienced! This is a man who is both knowledgeable and truly passionate about the subject, and that transfers to his students. Lots of personal discussion and fun projects. The massive portfolio almost killed me, but it was truly worth it. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!
