Professor Leon is a good teacher. He doesn't just rely solely on the book in his classes. Instead, he brings in his own viewpoint on the subject and his viewpoint is 9 times out of 10 much clearer than anything the textbook provides! He also provides clear and detailed handouts that make difficult concepts digestible.

His hw and projects are very hard.Unless you have experience and comfortable with C, you will do fine.At first I thought I'm failing this class, I guess he really curves it and help his student.He is nice and I feel sympathy whenever I look at him.His note is very good and clear though.He describes very little things which is good.

He talks quietly, so it's difficult to understand what he's saying. He writes everything down, including what he says. He does a lot of examples to describe algorithms, which is very helpful. He also test algorithms that I have already learned in CS202. If you found the solutions for the textbook problems, it'll make the class really easy.
