Professor Olma is undoubtedly one of my favorite english teachers. It's clear that he truly cares about his students & their well-being. Every morning he makes it his mission to be sure & greet every student in the class & ask how they are doing, regardless of how long it takes. He goes above & beyond to help his students succeed.

I hate anything English related, i came into the classroom expecting to just have papers to write and poem to read, and it wasn't like that at all. He was very much more focused on the students them self than forcing them to conform to literature standers. He wants to help you form your own opinions and work through the texts your way. He is great

Professor Olma was amazing! He's a very understanding guy and willing to meet half way with anyone on their issues. His lectures are exciting and you will be graded on few things. It's pretty hard to fail his papers because he helps you out so much on them. This was my second attempt at ENC1102 and i ended with a B. Definitely an easy guy.

Professor Olma will give out his email, but will never respond back to you. Also, I received A's on every single paper I did, yet my final grade was B...? Professor Olma wouldn't respond as to why either. No communication! He does not follow the FSCJ grading policy either. Not sure how he gets away with that. Work your butt off for an A to get a B

Prof. O was my absolute favorite teacher! His methods are teaching are different. No book or tests! Class consists of critical thinking, participation, & handouts . He goes around the room and we all give our thoughts. Don't be shy! He doesn't judge. ENC 1102 consists of 4 papers and 1 annotation. As long as you follow the recipes, it's an easy A!

One of the best professors I've ever had! Super funny & easy to talk to. I always looked forward to his class. There were 3 essays, 1 project, 1 take home literary definition assignment & a few other little things. Essay topics were always clear & interesting. I wish more professors used his wonderful teaching approach. TAKE HIM TAKE HIM TAKE HIM!

Professor Olma is a phenomenal teacher! He is very easy going and keeps a comfortable class room atmosphere and ensures EVERYONE understands the assignments. We had ZERO tests and only a few writing assignments, if you are capable of basic English take this class before he retires!

Professor Olma was very easy. He was really nice, and understanding if you are sick, he will work something out, but not if its ongoing. The only thing that aggravated me was if I had a question, I would email him, and call his office, but not once did he return my emails or calls. Make sure to ask all questions IN CLASS.

First off, it's an English class; its not going to be terribly interesting. Prof. Olma is such an interesting, sincere and funny person that i found myself looking forward to going to class just to hear what jokes he has for us in store. If you have to take this class, go to him as soon as you can. You will not be disappointed.
