She is really nice, and if you really want to learn, then you can take her...Anyway, she is a tough-grader, and i mean "REALLY TOUGHT." I worked very hard in this course and attended every class, but i still got a D...Not everyone likes to write or write well, she just has to know and understand it. And you have to write in her way to get a C or B

I do not know how anyone could say she cares for her students! All she cares about is her "academic integrity". Is it is a supposed honors course, and it is easier than ENG 102. If you are fluent in English, it should be an easy A or B.

I cannot imagine anyone teaching this course better than her. Crystal clear instructions, really interesting readings & her genuine care for her students will do wonders for you. Do the readings in advance, participate, follow her instructions & you will do well. I started with C & ended with A, beyond my expectations as Eng is my 2nd language.

She is the best teacher ever! She is funny and smart and always really helpful and committed to making sure that you do your best. She's really pretty and always looks nice. She's a very tough grader -- don't forget to do your reading! But if you do your work, you're fine.

She is one of the best professors in Rutgers. Very professional and effective, there is no way to not improve your writing and reading skills with her. Additionally, she is extremely helpful and warm as a person. She might be a hard grader, but she is very fair. You can always revise your essays, even your exam, so you can get a better grade.

I don't know how she doesn't have a smiley next to her name. She is a great teacher! She's super smart and funny and gives you really interesting readings. She talks about everything you need to write an essay for her, just take notes and you'll be fine. Her class is my favorite, she's a great lady. :)

As people said before, not easy, but will give you a leg up for later lit classes that require a lot of reading/writing. She really is a good person and gets you ready for anything as long as you feel you can meet the challenge. I found her grading was almost honors level (funny how she teaches an honors level 102 class as well)Still good though.

She is a very hard professor! She is strict with the attendance and the deadlines. She gives very challenging essays. If you are really dedicated, take this class. Definetely, not an easy A. She is very helpful with students but in class, she speaks very fast! A very nice professor to talk to
