She is nice for the most part but doesn't EVER follow the course description and also doesn't enjoy following her test reviews all the time. Her classes are boring because she teaches only what she deems important or interesting, not what the actual course description says, I hated her as a prof, she was nice but a waste of my time.

Passionate professor, even though I honestly had no interest in the class whatsoever. Some parts were alright, and she was very detailed in her teaching. Her tests were HARD, so we had to make sure we knew EVERYTHING and every detail. She tried her best to prepare us though.

Stay on task with Dr. Bain, or you will be left behind. She has high expectations of her students, but she provides all the information and tools that one needs to do well. Among the most approachable and helpful professors in the music dept., as long as you keep up from day one you'll learn a great deal.

Dr. Bain is extremely clear and helpful. Her teaching style ensures that you learn as much as possible each class about her topic. Her classes take a lot of effort and energy, but are always worth it.

Probably the most difficult, but fairest prof i have ever had. The amount of information she engrained into our minds is unbelievable. If you're a slacker, you'll HATE this professor...but if you're a serious student, you will pick up an amazing amount of information from her teaching.
