Comment:

Dr. Taube is a phenomenal professor. I have taken both SCM 206 and SCM 432 with him and both classes were well organized and informative. He makes you work for a good grade through a lot of discussion posts, case studies, simulations, and exams. It can be a lot of work but you will definitely know the information by the end.

Comment:

Dr. Taube is a great professor. His course was full of relevant, real world examples to get you thinking in the same manner you will when doing this stuff for a living. The work is challenging but engaging to the point that it holds your interest. Extra intriguing if you already have experience in a supply chain field.

Comment:

Larry is one of the most selfless and genuine professors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Took this class over the summer through the Costa Rica program and basically lived with him for 2 weeks. AMAZING man and UNCG is so lucky to have a professor like him who cares so much about the student and their college experience.

Very good professor, the class was online but, he was always available if you had questions, he replied to emails very quickly, so that was a plus. I enjoyed the class.

This is probably one of the worst classes I have ever taken at UNCG, only because of the way the content was delivered. This class was online and the modules posted were sloppy for lack of a better term. Every grade is a discussion post, an article review, or a case study. There are rarely videos or anything interactive within the modules. Awful..

Avoid him if you can. This guy's tests are long and hard. It's always a guessing game as to what's on there. Very few in class examples of problems, and homework does not adequately prepare you for tests.

Hard tests, with not enough time to complete them. Many questions are on the case studies and other readings he has you do. Avoid if you can. I made an A, but I put way to much time into the course to do so.

Prof Taube good knowledge, good experience, cares about students. Read text BEFORE taking online quizes. MC on exams are right from DVD and online quizes. HW takes a long time but it worth it for using in the real world. Videos on DVD will be on the exam. If students struggle, he'll work to instill better study and preparation habits.

horrible class, i am taking it online which is more than likely a plus when you hear him for his online lectures it sounds like he finished a marathon, which makes him difficult to hear so clarity is down, there is alot of work in this class. i advise you take it with a partner or find a person in class so you can help each other

I am currently taking this class online now(summer) This class is a lot of work! You get 2 tries on HW &Quizzes so that's good. The exams are the hard part! The math problems are twice as hard as the hw and the essays aren't too easy either. Time is a major factor..you'll probably run out of time on the exam. & he's no help&gets smart in email

This is one of the worst classes I have taken at UNCG. Taube is very unclear, refuses to explain anything including math problems. This class wouldn't have been difficult if he would explain problems to students. He also sends rude, poorly written emails. Avoid him if you have difficultly with math. His explanations are not detailed enough.

I took the summer online class. The professor was very rude to students in email and discussion board. The homework, quizzes and m/c part of tests were taken straight from the textbook. You will probably fail the problem/essay portion of the test, however. The papers were graded on his g/a's view of english grammar and not at all for content.

The most worthless class environment I've ever been a part of. I'm an accounting major that maintains a high GPA, and felt that Dr. Taube is a waste of the Tax Payers money. His grading is simply obsurde. It seems he is interested in making the class difficult instead of teaching and understanding. Not much help trying to approach him either.

Dr. Taube is the absolute worst professor I have ever had. He will not clearly explain the mathematical problems in the class. He also made absurd rules such as no one could use the bathroom, or you were locked out of the class. Exam questions are not as clear as HW problems, be prepared for anything. Avoid this guy!

The WORST. He does not explain anything he teaches properly, homeworks are timed and you are given 2 tries. Refuses to answer questions about pretty much everything, Refuses to go into specifics about anything, everyboy in our class was lost on a daily basis, avoid him at ALL costs, be prepared to teach yourself pretty much everything

Explains too fast and isn't always clear on the steps to do problems or what the right answer is. Online homeworks are timed and you are given tests that may take HIM 50 min. but take the class about an hour..he plans it like that. Too much work for someone taking 5 classes, maybe if you take 2 it's ok...Our test average for the 1st test was 68% .

This class was VERY time consuming! There are lots of homework assignments, a huge group project, and other small assignments EACH week. I was really bored in this class. However, he tells you EVERYTHING you need to know for the exams.
