This professor is awesome. I had her for Core-110. The whole semester was just group discussions every day and she really got you thinking. Great at helping you understand subject material. She does a grade a little tough on papers, which is the only thing. Unless you are bad at writing papers, you should be able to get an A. I will miss her!

Professor Bjornstad is a good teacher, but she is much tougher than some of the other core professors. Dont expect to easily get good grades on your papers, even if youre a good writer. Since the papers are what make up your grade, take the class with a different professor.

Professor Bjornstad is easily one of the most caring professors here at VU. I have had many down to earth conversations with her, and it is very obvious that she's passionate and really loves her job.

Prof Bjornstad is a great professor. Yes, she does give a lot of work, and she is a tough grader, but that is because she wants you to learn as much as possible and do well in the course. She is very understanding when homework is not completed or late, because of busy schedules. She is more than willing to meet one on one and talk about your grade

Professor Bjornstad is an excellent professor. She makes you work for your grade and is a tough grader. You have to be able to pay attention to actually learn. She is not an easy A professor. I learned a ton of German taking her class than any other high school teacher or college professor, that is because she knows how to teach.

Dr. Bjornstad is a quiet, well-manner woman of dignity and integrity. She loves busy work, which can be frustrating for the student, but I learned much from her about Subjunctive I and II, which helped me when I went abroad. The practicality of her assignments truly pays off in the end.

Very nice, but has a very repetitive teaching style. Lots of grammar exercises on the board, which are helpful at times, especially right before quizzes. Also big on group work, which usually involves something not all that exciting.

Extremely nice woman who is genuinely interested in her students' lives. Will make class fun and interesting to those students who know a lot of German, and those just re-entering. Throws Christmas parties! Very fun. Cute kid.
