Cluff is an incredible math teacher. She explained concepts in such easy terms that anyone could understand it. Her way of teaching is unique but amazing! Questions are answered in the beginning of class and she allows the students to work them out with her direction. Everyone in the class understand and passed the class. Highly recommend!!

Lets just say I have had to take this class more than once. This is Calc and it is not easy. I am finally going to pass this class. Small class size really helped. Don't miss class because you get to ask questions and actually get answers that you can understand. SLC is a great place to take this class. Easy parking. Not easy but doable!

Calculus is NOT an easy class, but sis. Cluff really wants you to understand it as well as you can. I loved the SLC class for a few reasons: there were 5 people in my class. Serious! Only 5! I got an hour of 1 on 1 time once just asking my questions. 2: she basically lets the students run class. If you don't understand, you will spend time on it

Overall, the class isn't to bad. Her background in secondary education comes through in her teaching style. You have to work for your grade, but class lectures aren't too bad, and help you follow what part of the course your learning. Tests aren't all that easy, and aren't MC.

Over-emphasizes proofs in the class but good teacher overall. No problem with basic questions. Good sense of humor. Expects thorough knowledge of formulas and identities rapidly. Focus should be on understanding not proof after proof, but not bad overall.

Expects you to remember everything you ever learned about math. Lectures didn't help much, I studied on my own. Very willing to help after class though - don't ask a question during or you'll seem dumb. Fairly difficult class.

Good teacher. Sometimes a little hard on students with elementary questions, but teaches the mathematical fundamentals well. I think she's the only Trigonometry teacher at BYU, but she's all right. Be prepared to work for the grade, though.
