I don't like her class. Class slides are useless and her quizzes are very tricky. She is not responsible for her students. The last month last semester, she didn't even show up!!!!!

I loved this teacher. Her class is fun to go to. Key is to go to class and take notes, everything the 4 tests are off notes and lectures, and they're not cumulative, which helps a lot. You don't have to go to class, but most of the time its extra points for those who do go to class. I didn't even buy the txtbook

She is a great professor and a very nice and sweet person. She seems to really care about her students. She has a lot of passion for the material which is contageous. Key to her course is going to class and taking notes. I considered a minor in Geology after having her as a Professor. Would sign up for any class she is teaching!

One of the best teachers at NU. If you can get into NAT DAS take it for your elective. It one of the hardest classes in NU to get into. I learned more in this class then most of my concentration. Also, SMOKE SHOW!!!

Awesome class. Went to the classes about interesting topics, skipped the ones that bored me. Still ended up with an A. I couldn't take one test on the scheduled day and she was very cooperative about re-scheduling. One thing she hates-people talking during her class and being a distraction.

What an abominable ice queen. She spazzed out on the class at least 3 times for 10 mins. How bad of a teacher do you have to be to resort to such base tactics? OUTSIDE of the aforementioned, no real complaints. Just read and take notes and you'll be fairly judged. IIICC-EEEE though [shivers].

I really enjoyed the class, but it was more difficult than I anticipated. She was a very enthusiastic and entertaining teacher, which kept things interesting. Difficulty came from tricky, somewhat unpredictable test questions. Attendance is key to an A.

She's nice and friendly but makes some really dumb questions on her tests that can be tricky. I managed a B+ in her class doing very little work but I am a good test taker and she was scaling all of them to boot. A fluff class but a tough one to ace.

Very cool teacher. Funny, smart, does a great job teaching. Her powerpoint slides make the class fun. She uses cool graphics and animations, and she will do anything to help you. She's the best teacher I've had at northeastern.

Coombs is one of most passionate professors I've ever had. She wants students to be excited about the subject matter. Definitely knows her stuff and if you respect her and make an effort in class, she will remember you and help you as best as she can.

Really easy if you go to every class. Missing even one class is hard to make up if you don't have many friends in the class. She really enjoys what she's doing, but seems a little crazy. Only 4 quizzes so it's hard to bounce back if you do bad on one.
