u will b taking alot of notes!but overall she is helpful if u ask.she has a lot of personal stories and is very enthusiastic about class.she doesnt assign final papers anymore,but u do have 2 write ten 1-page pages on ten articles about Ant.And also i advise u to read and go over the notes 4 tests.

A difficult, but interesting class. On days you take notes, you usually take a lot (up to 8 pages sometimes). She tells lots of interesting stories about Forensic Anthropology cases she has worked on. If you are interested in the subject, it is a great class to take...just be prepared to work hard.

what a crappy prof! she does notes EVERYDAY with copies on an over head projector. never stops talking. and is not around much before or after class. she just suckd basically. do not take that class with her!

Good teacher, very nice, very helpful. LOTS AND LOTS OF NOTETAKING, so be prepared! Grade is based on 3 exams and a 12 page paper.. just study and make sure you show up to class, all the tests are based on ALL the notes - dont just look at the study guide

I just found out about this website and I now go to a diff. school. I had her last year and her test were NOTHING like her notes or the book. If you are looking for an easy A..its NOT here...RUN!She also likes to make fun of ppl. for not attending 1 day!

She has lots of energy and a sort of nerdy sense of humor. It's easy to ask her questions and she is very smart. Class is advanced paced but manageable as long as you study and use time with the bones. I found the book useless.

don't even think of asking her to slow down or clarify anything. she'll glare at you like you just ruined christmas. she whips through the lectures so she can have us "quiz each other on the bones" and so she can chill and check her email.

hooo boy. this is an interesting class, and she definitely knows what she's talking about, but don't take it unless you've already had anatomy. i'm a reasonably intelligent anthropology major (with a concentration on human origins) and it's too hard!
