The class is great along with the professor. You are graded with in-class participation through tophat 20 out of 40 questions are used, 8 out of the 9 online quizzes that you have 2 tries to take, and 3 out of the 4 exams. The exams are not a piece of cake but she gives you a detailed study guide and will answer any questions. Also Extra credit.

Dr. Ganger was super great! I loved her class so much, and I always wanted to go to class, even though I had class with her at 9. Her lectures were about 85% of the material, and if you take good notes in lecture, you can get away with just a few skimmed paragraphs in the book. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ganger is the best! Very clear on her expectations and what will be tested. She gives great explanations and is helpful. Attendance is mandatory because she does TopHat questions in class for points and some material is only covered in lecture. The readings assigned are short but important because not all material is covered in lecture.

Dr. Ganger is a fabulous professor. She's very clear with her expectations, gives in-depth explanations, especially on difficult topics, and provides a study guide for all exams. As long as you keep up with the reading and show up to class it should be an easy A.

Dr. Ganger definitely knows her stuff, but she expects everyone else to walk into the course with the same amount of understanding. Questions on quizzes & tests can be very confusing and there have been multiple times where I've chosen the answer that seems to be right based on lecture material & textbook readings, but she marks it wrong anyways.

There is an online homework due before each class based on the textbook reading, it's not hard but the readings can be time consuming. Same with studying for the exams, they are on a lot of material, and even though the material itself isn't difficult it is a lot of memorization and the exams can be a bit tricky, but you can drop one.

I had Ganger for Language Development. There's daily quizzes/activities so attendance is mandatory. Grade is also from 3 exams and 3 papers but it's an easy A. Dr. Ganger makes lecture interesting and is by far a great professor for the class. Definitely take this class if a Psych major!!

I had her for developmental psych. Easy class, three exams and optional final. Some lectures can get a bit boring but she is good at explaining the concepts and really cares that students learn. She posts videos of each class online, good resource if you skip. Two-point online homeworks due before each class (from the readings) boost your grade.

Not bad at all, she's a good professor. lots of online quizzes, but they aren't timed so you can just hunt through the book or google it. tests have some specific dates but they're not terrible, plus you can drop one.

Dr. Ganger definitely does her best to keep the class interesting. Lots of textbook notes. People I know have said her tests are har but they dont take notes from the textbook; 25% of the exam comes from the TB and is material she doesn't cover. As long as you take good Tb notes you'll be totally fine. 3 exams and a final. Final is optional.

Ganger is nice lady, but she expects a lot for her exams. However, if you read for each lecture, do the homework, and attend lecture, then studying should be mostly a review. That being said, you rely on the book A LOT compared to other courses. If you are interested in D. Psych, then the class won't be difficult.

She is passionate about what she teaches. She isn't afraid to admit she doesn't know something but she will also correct you if you say something that isn't right. You only have to participate orally once in the semester and her tests are set up for you to pass. A simple few days of studying before hand (and paying attention) will get you an A.

She goes very in-depth with her lectures which I find to be very helpful. She explains everything she talks about by giving at least two different examples of what she just said. She gives two homework assignments per week and will pull questions from the homework and use them for her exams. Overall a Dr. Ganger is a good teacher.

Dr Ganger is a tough professor. Lectures are extremely boring but mandatory because of the spoken and written participation grades. You have to read a lot for daily quizzes and exams. The quizzes are easy but exams are very hard.

Professor Ganger was your average professor. She lectures heavily and expects you to know things in the textbook that she doesn't cover in class. Her lectures put me to sleep a few times and she didn't keep me engaged in the material. The class isn't that difficult, but you need to comb through the textbook for even the smallest details.

Dr. Ganger is super sweet and is always willing to help students when they ask for it. Her lecture was a bit boring and dry but she is very passionate about psychology and cares about her students. Her exams aren't super hard but you should definitely read the textbook and come to most of the lectures.

First psych class I took in college, very glad it was. Lectures were very boring, but there were random participation worksheets given out through semester. HW is an easy grade booster, and much of the HW questions are on exams. 3 tests and an optional final (which I recommend taking). Tests are a combo of book and lecture material

Grading is based on homework quizzes, in class participation during lectures, and exams. You definitely want to read the book along with her lecture notes in order to be successful. Overall, I found her lectures to be interesting and hands on. she one day crawled on the floor in her skirt to demonstrate how babies crawl at 7 months. Overall, funny!

Grading is based on reading quizzes before each lecture, participation, and 3 exams. The quizzes require a lot of reading but arent hard to pass because you get 3 tries. The participation is manageable and the exams are pretty standard. Overall the class wasnt too hard, lecture was dry but necessary because some parts of exams come solely from them

Professor Ganger's class is quite dry but pretty fair. She gives homework quizzes before almost every class, 5 in-class participation worksheets, and 1 instance of mandatory verbal participation that all count towards your grade, but as long as you do everything then they just boost your grade. Her tests can be slightly confusing but manageable.
