Very difficult class. Her test grading is very tough, and almost all of the grade is based on tests. You will likely learn calculus, but that doesn't mean you will pass the class. I also went to her for help on a couple of occasions and was turned away. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

Comment:

Great teacher if you pay attention and do the work. Will not pass if you do not do your work. More than willing to help students and is very personable. I got a D in this class because I did not complete assignments and did not put forth effort. Very good teacher and deserved more from me.

Comment:

Always asked for advice to make the class better. Took MAT 116 (online) and was really nervous because math is not my forte at all. The lectures and the notes she required us to take were pretty easy. The quizzes and tests online were easy, and the midterm and the final were rough, but she grades on partial credit. Which is why I did well.

Didn't care for her at all. Kind of rude professor and made testing dates on homecoming weekend; tests were also mandatory to take in class at like 8AM on Saturdays. I hated writing all the notes from her videos online and if you don't write every single thing you receive no points at all. Overall hated this class with a passion!

The class is hard but she is a great teacher, one that really wants her students to succeed. I wouldn't of made it through with out all of her help! She says that she wants all of the students to succeed and will do anything she can to help. She doesn't just say it, she proved she really does care. I wish all professors cared as much as her.

I'm a good student sr. w/3.5 gpa.I lovetheschoolexperience and am grateful for the opportunity that some never get.That said, this ogre has a way of destroying your faith in people and any of your own abilities.If you are weak in character or socially inept take her class she's not threatened by you.She can't convey her doctorate knowledge at all.

OK,yes the class is hard, but she is available as much as we needed her to be to help us! All I can say is that you need to do your homework, study and do your best. She was willing to let us come to her office at our convenience and work with her to help us "get it!" She did not make us wait for office hours. I found her to be very helpful.

I've been at this school for 7 years (most of them part time), and she is easily the worst teacher I've had at this school. I am a math teacher contracted to teach next fall, and I dread going to her math class. I took her for 352, and was struggling to make a C. I dropped, took it with Dr. Lee, and got an A. SHE SUCKS!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

She is always there to help you but her tests are very hard. She tries to prepare her students for whatever field requires calculus. You will know your stuff if you pass with above a D. If you get something lower than what you wanted, retake the thing. She is very clear on what she expects. Do it.
