Terrible teacher! Has no respect for students. Told me since i sit in the back I will never pass her class. Any questions we had she never answered, just said look at syllabus. Also does not use moodle which is a helpful tool. Cares for herself more than the class. Do not take her.

She does not give you feedback. Every paper you write, you will not get a grade until the end of the semester. You do not take tests, but at the end of the year, you revise five of your six papers and turn them in for a grade. It is terrible. You are expected to read more then you should She teaches it like a 300 level course. Do NOT take it!

She has a great personality though she is very bias and closed minded. Took two weeks to give papers back. Was very critical on papers and group presentations. Did not give direction on papers but wanted to control how the were written when she edited them. She's condescending. Grading was unclear. Freshman do not take her! Grades on grad level

Teacher is well spoken & direct. Homework for this class is extreme. Expectations very high for students. Numerous text books required & info is overwhelming. Grades papers at graduate level. Offers no help in writing papers-though many are required. Would not suggest class to any freshman. Not a good experience for me.

Very interesting class; The entire class is solely discussion based with daily response papers, presentations, and other activities to analyze and examine the underlying meaning of the reading for the week. My advice is that you talk as much as you can, and you begin your seminar paper early, in order to ensure adequate completion and a good grade.
