Worst professor ever. Was late practically every day - once even during an exam day when she showed up 30 mins late with no excuse. Confused information when in class and often students had to correct her. Never knew what she was expecting of you as she kept changing the syllabus and then not following deadlines. YOU HAVE TO READ THE TEXTBOOK.

Doesn't teach you anything, you have to learn everything by yourself from the book or from youtube. Gets mad when you don't understand the material and makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. Extremely condescending to her students and constantly makes rude remarks about everybody "not trying" hard enough as an excuse for a low avg test grade

Every time I have had the misfortune of needing to talk to this lady....she is rude, unprofessional, and generally lacks logical responses...avoid her at all costs....I can't understand how she has a job.

Seriously?!?!? Listen, everyone has strengths and weaknesses and Dr. Swann may not be the most prompt person however her class is downright easy! If you turn something in and try you will get an A, regardless of the quality of your work. Her tests are easy too. And if you are a grad student working for her, thats your own fault.

Gifted but not driven to teach, nor to further student careers or credentials. This said, she is strong academically & willing to take chances. Just not the prof that most students need, & one that is likely to hurt a good students gpa for the first time. It is in hindsight that her positive characteristics come through. GO TO CLASS & READ!

swann may be the worst teacher i've ever had in my life. She does not understand the concepts herself, nor does she know how to go about teaching anything. DO NOT take any class with her or you will regret it. She forces attendence, loses assignments, and is completely unorganized. so so so bad...
