By far this was the worst class I took here at HSU. She was so rude and disrespectful, as her huge ego overshadowed any of her her teaching abilities. She will call you out in front of the entire class, embarrass you and bully you. She rang a tiny bell to get your attention as if you're a dog. The class was pure torture.

Some people really like her, some don't. I personally really enjoyed her passion for the topic, she's a no nonsense woman, strong and I find her inspirational. I learned a lot from her class, I didn't always agree to everything she said, but she doesn't just lecture her opinion, she has facts, stats, and data. Just be open minded and open to learn.

Grading criteria is NOT clear. Lectures are very anecdotal from her own life. Not accessible outside of class unless you can make it to her office hours. Did not agree with her grading. She cited from Dr. Oz during a lecture. I don't feel that I learned a whole lot from the class. I don't believe she is respectful or compassionate towards students.

Her class is very difficult however you still can pass the class if you attend, study, do the pop quizzes and attend study sessions. There is no way you can fail the class if you follow her syllabus. Oh and definitely make sure you read the text book that is required.

I really don't know why so many people dislike her. It's an easy class. Just show up, study a bit, and you'll do fine. Sure she has a big ego and is very opinionated but so what. I didn't agree with everything she said, but I also didn't try and argue about it with her. I think the people that get offended by her are other loud mouths.

I take stress and wellness. The class material is very interesting and I enjoyed reading the textbook. Our lectures are somewhat informative but she gets mad if you raise your hand to try to ask a question. Her overinflated ego definitely gets in the way of her teaching ability. She argues with you if you ask question and she is easily offended.

Taylor is not for everyone. She's extremely passionate and everything that she says is backed up by facts and studies (do the readings and you'll see). People who think she has strong opinions simply don't get that they're not merely opinions, they are results of long research studies. Amazing class, I learned so much, I would take more if I could.

I had an open mind with Jen's way of teaching initially, but at some point you have to draw the line and call out bullying when you see it. The material in class really interests me, but Jen is too busy ranting about HSU's administration & shoving her opinions down students' throats to actually teach that material. Never taking her classes again.

She's absolutely the most ridiculous professor I've ever met. Everything she says or puts on a test is extremely subjective. Her tests are opinion based and difficult. Her Moodle is insane- jumbled thoughts with no sort of organization. She doesn't allow questions in class, and will cut you off and ignore you if you raise your hand.

Jennifer is an extreme feminist. I feel bad for men in the class, she likes to disagree a lot. States a lot of her own personal opinions & inflicts them as factual. However, I liked learning about this topic. Very interesting. Read the book & study slides on moodle then tests are easy. Don't have to show up but the topic sticks better if you do.

Psychology of Prejudice was great! I really like this professor. She is also great to talk to if you go to her office. You either like her or you don't. I am a big fan! I only wish I could take more classes from her. Fantastic professor. Classes are every rewarding, and they change the way you look at life.

Take her classes with an open mind. Don't take her lectures as fact, and anything you like that she says, double check the facts behind it. I have counted at least 4 down right lies that she has told to boost her opinion. She is a feminist, and very outspoken about it. Be careful of what you say, she likes to make examples of people.

Horrible. Rude. Shuts students down, even if they have science backing up their point of view. Doesn't take questions. Thinks it's ok to bully students in front of entire class. Misquotes things enough to completely change the meaning to support her point of view. Easy class if you really read the textbook, but just not worth it.

you either like her or you don't. I hated her at first to be honest. 302 was my least favorite class and I did extremely well despite. GO to the study sessions because they REALLY help. I barely studied and pulled off A's on all tests. Attendance isn't mandatory but you might miss extra credit options or bonus questions for the test.

Really annoying teacher. Almost every example she gives is either self-aggrandizing, greatly exaggerated, or simple a lie. On the whole her tests are super easy but she asks for definitions on concepts that she never actually defines, merely hints at the desired definition. In no way does she teach a psych class, just her own opinions.

I really like Dr Taylor. Her style is not for everyone. She has a lot to cover in class, so she is often quick to move over people's questions.Go to her office, and you'll find she is one of the nicest people at HSU. I am VERY glad I took Psych of Women.

She was an awesome teacher. She lectures fast, so I would read before the class. There are four tests and two essays. Go to class if you want a good grade because you will miss out on alot. She is very entertaining and plays videos that relate to what she talks about. if you ever have questions just go to office hours. lots to learn, its awesome

I see a lot of negative comments about Taylor, but from my experience she is a great teacher. She understands that waking up at 8 in the morning sucks and kind of tries to keep you awake with stretches and funny stories. She is well informed about cognitive psychology. I enjoyed her class very much!

Worst class I've ever taken at HSU. Had nothing to do with the psychology of women whatsoever. The class was just an opportunity for Jennifer to try and shove her opinions at you. Never taking a class with her again.
