You need to read the book to pass. There is a compare contrast 20 page paper. The professor is funny talking about ridiculous things. Notes are pointless. And exams are 90 question multiple choice

I was nervous to take him based on the reviews, but I'm glad I did it anyway. 1 HUGE paper which stinks, but he is nice, totally flexible and the lectures reflect the books used. 3 exams which are longer than most, averaging 90 questions but he gives plenty of time and will even let you stay to finish if he can. Great Professor I would take again.

If you put in a little effort you'll do great, I got an A- in his class. You can learn a lot from the book you're assigned to read and you'll have to do 3 papers on it that aren't very long at all. This was a fun class and he was a really good professor. He used fun examples in class and knows how to crack jokes. The exams are pretty easy. You gotta do 3 reaction papers on the book by Peck, but it's only like 3 pages. I definitely recommend taking this class.

I really liked this class! It was interesting. I really didn't mind reading the textbook either.. And the other book he assigned, The Road Less Traveled was really good as well. He has a lot of experience in the field of psychology. This class was pretty easy.

He is very knowledgible. Sometimes he may wonder off topic, but he is a pretty good professor. The only bad thing is if you have him in a PSYC course with more than 50 people he only gives you three exams, and that's it. Overall if you take good notes and read the text, you will do fine.

DONT TAKE IT! Yes, he is funny, but you wont learn anything. He's not very helpful, and his TA's are nonexistant. Very disorganized! He mixed up our grades for the first exam. NEVER stays on topic! RARELY on time. Doesnt know how to use BB. you have to do EVERYTHING by yourself. Reading the textbook aprox 35pages each. DONT TAKE HIM PLEASE!

He is extremely funny. The class can be boring. Youll have to do 3 reaction papers, and you'll have 3 exams (mid&fin). Do not buy the book, you dont need it at all. He tells very funny stories and gives you hilarious scenarios so you can remember the material. His TA's are helpful as well.
