Dr. B was SUPER hard BUT was soooooo into the class!! He has a wealth of knowledge and I LOVED attending classes (I was in more than one). He was animated and nice. That made it more "easier" to deal with the challenging work we had in his class. I don't know if he is still at Bradley but certainly happy I had the pleasure of having him as my prof

Bjelopera's Urban history class is one of the few at Bradley that challenges serious social issues such as white privilege. As an alum, I find myself using many of his teaching techniques.

Bjelopera is the coolest, funniest, most interesting teacher I have ever had at BU! I hate history, but he makes it come to life. Don't take this class if you want a blow-off history class though!

Take very good notes & you'll be fine. Your hand will feel like it will fall off during his tests, but they aren't too hard if you take the time before-hand to study. Very interesting class. You'll learn a lot, and you won't fall asleep.

Second time I have had him, and he is still as excellent as the first. Probably the best history prof. at Bradley. Young, exciting, interesting, involved, and insightful. Take a class with this guy just for the experience.
