Comment:

He's an older man, so he can ramble a bit and is sometimes difficult to hear. However, if you pay attention, take notes, and ask questions as needed, he directly tells you exactly what you need to know and what will be on the test. He's also really funny, if you bother to listen.

If I knew of this site before taking this class in 2006, I would have done much better. He talked too fast and I couldn't tell what was really going to be on the tests because all of his stories would blend into the facts. By the time class ended, I would forget my questions. NOTE: bring a recorder, it will help when filling in notes later!

Class is easy. It's super hard to hear him, he doesn't talk very loud but TAKE NOTES. All his tests come directly from the notes. If you just study your notes for each test you'll be all set. Willing to help you if you ask him.. (loudly enough:)

A history proffessor who has already lived through much of what he is teaching? Last semester i had Dr Cameron in two classes (one that he himself was auditing) and to hear him recall events that i can only read in books is mind blowing. If you can put up with the work (if you're in history you learn to) his classes are the best you can take at ENC

Awful teacher. I am sure he has seen a lot of history, but he has to understand that what he sees and what we need to learn are two different things. Why do you need an aid to pass the class? Strange... No joke, bring a recorder to catch what he says. If shown, he would get into a lot of trouble because of his teacher. I wouldnt recommend him.

Horrible teacher. He rambles and you cant understand him at all. He CANNOT change history just because he says all the text books and historical documents are wrong. I just wanted to sleep through his class, and I did. His tests are unreasonable and you need a student who already took his class to help you or you will fail his tests

He lies. This, I know because I went to the dean of academics. He is a horrible lecturer, and literally re-writes history (which you just cant do). I wouldnt recommend him at all. Just dont let him "drop one of your test grades" because he doesnt, he only says he will. Keep away!

I have Prof for Western Heritage and half the time I have no idea what he is talking about because the man rewrites history which is humerous in and of itself. Like other's have said he may be old but he is still as spry as when he conquered Athens!!!! Yay Dr. Cameron!!
