Comment:
This professor does not care if his students succeed. Even if the majority of the classed failed an exam, he offers no way to improve your grade causing a large amount of students to have to drop his class. The material on exams is different from what is in lecture. This professor unapproachable and difficult to communicate with. Do not recommend

Worst professor I've ever had. Hard, challenging, confusing, and doesn't care if his students succeed. Almost half the class dropped because they were failing. He made me hate a subject I used to love. Take him as a last resort.

I have never met a "qualified" person this rude and unapproachable. Don't bother asking any questions because you won't get a straight or even helpful answer. I've also never seen anyone play favorites as much as he does. Its shameful.

AWFUL professor! Teaches less than half of the material in class that he expects you to know for the test. Offers no way to bring up your grade, only the really impossible tests.

He is not clear at all. Expects you to come in advanced in gen chem. I went to his office hours and had a C- and he told me to drop his class and switch my major. He is rude and is of no help at all. DO NOT take him, and honestly if you have no other choice but to take him push gen chem off and take it your sophomore year. You'll be better off.

Mullin is a great guy and teaches his lessons clearly. Still, this was the worst class I have ever taken in my life. Your grade is composed of 3-4 tests and a weekly quiz. The questions he asks on the tests and quizzes are much harder than anything he goes over in class. Mullin is THE WORST OPTION FOR CHEM 110.

Dr. Mullin was extremely hard to follow. He'd ask questions as he was trying to motivate the class' involvement, but it seemed like he was just talking with himself. Also, his way of teaching is more of the mathematics behind chemistry rather than the concepts. Don't take if you haven't taken calculus, I'd avoid him altogether.

Dr Mullin tries to keep the content straight and to the point. The content can get a little dry sometimes and he tries to make lame but sometimes funny jokes about the material. The quizzes given every friday are pretty easy and a grade booster for the exams. Overall- chem isn't an easy subject but he makes it bearable and sometimes even enjoyable.

He's an awesome professor and keeps the class entertained. It's a tough course and sometimes you can get lost in it....so see him for office hours/extra help. Do not get behind! His tests are hard and he doesn't curve. Do the problems in the book and on the wkshts and you should be fine.

I love the way this professor writes Chemistry just the way he speaks it: entertaining. Concepts are presented in a crystal clear manner. Exams are challenging, and a little crazy, but funny, take him if you must take Chem!
