World Literature Since 1660. You have to work for the A. Go by his office during office hours and ask about the short ID's and he will give you what to put for all of them. Study for tests, make sure to read material. He gives pop quizzes sometimes, but they are easy. Write the essay questions before hand and ask him to look over them and memorize.

I took World Lit with Dr. Ball, his class was well-explained from the beginning on what he expects from his students. He takes attendance and sometimes gives pop quizzes . Stay caught up on the reading assignments. Before exams, he shows past exams and what they'll look like, they're not hard if you read. Spark notes was a huge help in this class!

Dr. Ball is brilliant. He knows the material backwards and forwards and often adds interesting tidbits you won't find in the text. Highly recommended. Would take again in a heartbeat.

Dr. Ball was one of my favorite professors at ASU and I am glad I got to have two classes with him. Though he may be entertaining, he does have a tough class. He has very specific expectations on his tests and you will have to take notes (I recommend also sharing notes with a classmate) AND read your book!

Dr. Ball is very laid-back and loves to tell stories and jokes. Just have a light sense of humor and keep any negative feelings toward cats to yourself, and you'll be just fine. He is also very sensitive to perfumes/colognes, etc. so don't wear any to his class. If you do the work and show up, you'll be fine.

I had the privilege of taking English I and Greek 1 at Gethsemane Bible Institute with Dr. Ball. He is an awesome teacher and quite a character. I've personally never met anyone that is as smart as he is in so many different fields. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a teacher in it for the education of others and not prestige.

Dr. Ball is so funny! He knows his stuff. Even though the class sucks, he makes it worthwhile. He gives a study guide as to what will be on the test. However, you DO have to know whats going on in order to do well on them. Also, he gives you four essay choices and you have to write two a page length on every test. He's a great teacher though!

I LOVED Dr. Ball! Lots of reading required to pass his tests, and the tests are rather difficult...but he is a great instructor. The final paper is a bit rough, Id advise starting it as soon as possible.Cant pass if you dont attend classes!

He is a very good instructor. Keeps class interesting. You do have to do your work and actually write good papers. If you go to class and have him proof your papers it is very easy to pass with an 'A' or 'B'.
