This guy... what a guy. Hes lived a life and now encourages us to live our own. He pushes us very very hard, but I have come out so much better, and a better student who can see much more of the world. I wish I could take a class with him every semester. Very smart and very challenging. But you wont regret it.

He challenges you as an actor. He may seem harsh with his critiques, but it's only because he wants you to be the best you can be. He is extremely knowledgable and talented in acting and directing. (Although he can be intense.) He really makes you think. Every class of his that I've had was lots of fun, and we often do acting exercises. (Games!)

I didn't expect to enjoy this class, as I am not a performer. However, Cohagan made it fun and enjoyable! It actually has been one of my fav classes and has changed my belief in my abilities. I had a good time!

He is teaching soley for the recognition he feels he should get professionally but did not have the talent with which to back it up. He has no problem humiliating students by pubically criticizing them in class. He also does not encourage creativity which is KEY in a career in theatre. Many students including myself have quit theatre bc of him.

Would rather put on a show the way he wants it than help students learn more about themselves as actors. Rarely uses original ideas - mostly copies other show designs verbatim from photos. Singles out students for unfounded public criticism and grades assignments based on personal preference instead of technical and creative excellence.

One of the most natural first-year profs I've ever encountered. As a director, he's a man that knows what he wants and takes any precautions necessary to ensure that his actors portray that vision. Way to be, Cohagan!
