In regards to his environmental ethics class. We may not have talked directly about the environment, but Mark teaches the class that gives the opportunity to discover for yourself, share your ideas and practice discussing ethics. He gives you the tools to back up your opinions and teaches you to think about the our function in the world.

Talks about social life way too much. Took his Environmental Ethics class and learned nothing about being environmentally ethical. Could have learned more by teaching myself this class by reading articles online.

Love, love, love! Absolutely hilarious, relatable stories. Never seems like he's lecturing. I wish he would teach all my classes. Super fun to talk to outside of class, super helpful with questions. If you're ready to do the work you'll have no problems. Show up to class he gives you everything you ever need in class to write the papers.

Mark Peterson is easily one of the best professors I have ever had. Want to pass his classes? Here is what you need to do: Listen to him, he tells you exactly what he wants in his papers. Read the assigned material, he looks for it in the papers you write. Talk to him at least once outside class, you'll get a great story. And lastly, don't be a ...

Great professor! Definitely swears more than your average teacher, but it makes class enjoyable. The content of logic is confusing, but I would recommend taking it with Mark because he's awesome! Heads up the book is pricey.

I completely loved this course. Lectures felt more like having a conversation with a friend, and yet I learned more about the world in this course than I have anywhere else. The book is great, the papers are straightforward, the final was straightforward as well. Totally recommend this professor!

This professor has a lot of amazing stories, he is extremely entertaining. His lectures are interesting. However he does not correct/return homework, So you never really know how you are doing until you take the midterm or final, the ONLY grades you receive all semester. Extremely liberal professor. Conservatives would be advised to keep their

Peterson is the best teacher at UWWC hands down. I took a religion class with him and it was the most fascinating class ever. He is available, helpful, and makes the information relevant to you. He makes you work for your grade, however there is no reason you can't get an A. I suggest taking ANY class with him.

mark peterson is awesome. i've got him for a study of religion class, and it makes me second guess everything i thought i knew about religion. he makes you earn your grade, but makes himself as helpful and accessible as possible. there's no reason anyone shouldn't get an A, and shouldn't love his classes.
