Jerry is an awesome teacher, he cares about his students and loves art. Some might say he is a tough grader but I think he is actually fair, this is college and he wants you to succeed! It is a fun and easy class if you go to class, turn in the journal you'll be fine. He basically gives you the answers to the tests and gives TONS of extra credit.

Jerry is a rare, wonderful teacher, performer, and person. I did the touring show and performed in a play with him. He'll be a mentor even outside the classroom. He's a joy, humorous, and has an impressive dedication, enthusiasm, directing and teaching style. I guarantee Jerry will inspire you!!

Summer session of beginning acting with Jerry is the best class to take, especially if you're a Theatre Tech major like me, not an Acting major. Jerry is an amazing professor. I learned a lot and never once felt stupid because I was TRYING and thanks to Jerry I was LEARNING. It is anyone's treat to be instructed by Jerry!

Teacher is passionate about acting and wants to get you passionate. Good teaching style very personable, nice, and friendly. Things are due often and there is work involved, but it's pretty easy. Don't miss any performances, do your journal entries and youre good. Pretty easy A. Class is fun but long, sometimes get tedious but not too bad. NO BOOK!

You either love him or hate him. I, personally, love 'im. His exercises don't always make sense at first, but they end up helping. I did horrible on the writing, but my acting made up for it. Either be an actor or a student, and it'll help the other.
