Huri was a nice guy, but I the way he taught wasn't really helpful. He would show you the answer and left you to figure out how for yourself. His quizzes and tests were confusing where 2/3 of them were trick questions. He also graded strictly.

Jerry was organized, knowledgeable and explained the material at a comfortable pace. He cared a lot about student progress and thoroughly went over our code to help us understand how to program properly. Highest value.

His homework style is good however, 4 assignments with increasing degrees of complication. His questions are oddly phrased and confusing. He docks points for almost everything on assignments and gives partial credit and allows you to explain what you are trying to do trying to do in English on the test for partial credit.

It was horrible at first- he talks fast, provides little basis for notes, and quizzes mercilessly. But once I adapted, it wasn't too bad. Important: keep up with the reading and labs! He will answer any questions you have as long as you provide a base for them. Though strict, he is kind and tries his best to help you succeed, if you want to.

This teacher is horrible. Ruined my dreams of becomming a programmer. From first day of class expected everyone to already know how to program. There were 2 kids who knew alot of C++ before they took this class. He taught the entire class to these 2 students ignoreing everyone else. The rest of us were lost. WARNING! DO NOT PICK THIS TEACHER!

He is the most horrible teacher I've ever had. He doesn't listen to a thing you say and when he answers a question you have, all he does is make you more confused. He is rude, unforgiving, mean, and every other awful thing you could think of. I hope that someday he gets what he diserves. (I can't say what that is on here and still be appropriate)

Comment:
Has a very uniqe and iteresting teaching style. Is a very good teacher if he recognizes a willingness and eagerness to learn. If not, he won't waste his time trying to teach you and will teach the ones who actually want to learn instead. Quizzes and tests are hard, but will answer any questions, including those on the test right before if asked.

Very tough teacher, and doesn't teach the classes as much as he directs them. If you use the book, review all your assignments, understand why you lost points, and try to improve you can earn an A, anybody can. I rather like how he weeds out the wannabes.
