you can tell he is kind of unorganized, he's really nice, but his way of teaching is not for everyone 1 there is no syllabus and he emails everything to you that you need to know 2 Goes over homework that u did for the entire class, you are in charge of reading the textbook to understand the concepts 3 exams make up most of the class good luck

Thought he would be great for 307 base don reviews but he has no syllabus so he'll just send an email and say do this for tomorrow and you have no idea when a test is until he announces it a couple of days before. He also consistently blames students for his mistakes and expects us to complete exams at the same pace that he does.

Of all intro finance professors at Bentley, he is the best. But beware, all intro finance professors at Bentley are bad. This class is all based on tests (85%), so if you do the problems (which are NOT collected), the tests are near identical to the problems. He spends the entire class going over the problems, and does very minimal teaching.

He spends the class going over the HW problems, which is useful, because the stuff he goes over is then on the test. Honestly thought it was a fair class, not bad if you pay attention most of the time easy 3.3.

Stay away at ALL COST! Leabman spends the whole course going over the homework (which isn't graded). Be ready to teach yourself this material.

Leabman's FI 305 is minimal effort. Tests are about 80% of the grade but if you grind before them you'll do fine. He has a way of doing things; do it his way for lots of partial credit. Attendance is not mandatory but show up to class and listen CLOSELY to how he hints about certain topics and you will know whats on the exams before you see them.

I really liked Professor Leabman. Not sure why everyone gives him bad reviews. I got a 3.7 in this class, and I'm not some genius student. His homework is optional, but if you do it all, you'll do well on exams. Also, if you screw up on an exam, but show that it was just "a bad day", he won't count it. Great guy, great teacher. I'm taking again.

Take at your own risk. Will totally destroy your gpa. This was my first grade below a 3.0 at Bentley and that's not without lack of trying. He does not teach. Exams are hard and 80 percent of your grade. Said he would scale the class when almost 20 people got below a 70, but did not end up scaling the class. He's the worst professor I've had by far

Professor has high expectations. He does not teach, and he emphasizes that, in class he does the homework problems rather than following a lesson plan. Available for help during office hours, but this is a self-taught class.

GB 320 is entirely group projects. He gave everyone a bad grade because we didn't prepare a presentation he never told us we had to give. When everyone in the class told him he didn't tell us, he didn't care or adjust our grades. He is impossible to contact because he doesn't answer emails. He is the worst professor I have ever had. Do not take.

Professor Leabman is an awesome professor. He gives literally no homework and quizzes. All the exams are pretty easy as long as you pay attention to his class. If you want to get a easy 3.7 or above , you should definitely take his class.

WORST professor at Bentley. Honestly, he does not make course material clear, and does not follow the syllabus at all. He is also a terrible grader and if you go to his office hours he is just plain rude and unhelpful. Never replies emails, and takes months to follow up with students. NOT recommended if aiming for a decently high grade in the class

Leabman is an overall average teacher. Did nearly no homework because he doesn't know how to use connect. His lectures can be very boring or very interesting, but some of the things he talks about aren't from the book. He'll go off on tangents, but there is little homework. You can learn from him if you try. 2 midterms and 1 cumulative final

Literally cannot stand this man. As someone who has never taken an accounting and finance class, this man was the worst professor for me. His exams are hard, he has no structure to the class, and preparing for exams is a nightmare. Plus he's an incredibly unreasonable grader. Ive pulled 4.0's in every other class, however this ruined my Gpa up.

I just read some of these reviews and I think there a lot of people who didn't do well because they didn't read the text book in addition to class materials and are angry because they got a less than desireable grade. He was very helpful; always willing to accomodate if you just ask him for help. Great real life anecdotes with a dry sense of humor.

Prof Leabman is a boss. His exams are so easy if you simply go to class and listen to what he says... makes sense right? He is extremely knowledgeable about accounting and finance. He used tons of real word examples and loves to criticize the textbook. He drops subtle jokes all the time. He NEVER collects homework. Prior business knowledge is a +

Eugh. 65 on the first midterm, 40 on the second. When I asked for help, he took days to respond and just said to do well on the final. No actual help. I will NEVER take him again
