I took this class online and it was very easy. You have to read the chapters. He gives test and will allow you to retake the test . He'll take the highest score. he as very responsive to any questions I had about material. I passed the class with flying colors. I will say the first 2 chapters are the hardest .

Class is hard to get a good grade in, the tests are difficult. Does however offer an additional test with different questions, will take highest grade.

If you have the choice to take him as a teacher, DONT! I took this class online with two of my friends and none of us did good. The tests are ridiculous, as if he makes the right answers not an available or "correct" choice. Spent all 2 or3 hours available to take the exams and still didn't do good. Even using the book on tests,I still got B's&C's!

Do not take this online at all. You will not learn a thing. Even with the text book, there is so much contradictions with the exams versus the material being 'taught' He will not respond to emails (I sent 5 throughout semester and received no reply) and he do not teach at all. Do not take this class if you can.

Just took his online class and still do not know my grade. As far as I know I have a C and I have never received less than an A in any of my classes here. The first exam was really confusing and difficult and each exam is like a quarter of the entire grade. He seems like a nice guy and does respond to emails but I would not recommend this class.

Prepare to fail. It would be nice to have a teacher who graded assignments, I'm not a teacher. I thought I understood VERY well, after A's on practice tests and studying hard... I failed 2 exams. Very disappointing.

Gerald/Jerry: This online class is hard. Requires a lot of study time. Hard to understand material/terrible book. Dq's/homework grades not readily available for reviewing. He did allow the class to re take exams, I'm guessing everyone failed; the re-test isn't easy either.

I took this class online, if you dont need any feedback and dont mind wondering what your grade is until the end, take this class. The test had absolutly nothing to do with the book, or the powerpoints. I understand that philospy is subjective but geesh!!! He allowed retakes on the test because I think we all failed them.Just grateful to get a C

I took his online class and got a B. Easy class. I remomend that you use his powerpoints for help when prepping for exams.Remember to DO THE DISCUSSION QUESTIONS. that is the one assignment that could mean the difference between an A and a B and its the one I always forgot to do. If you need to take philosophy this isn't a bad class to take.

Do not take this class online!! Participation is easy but the textbook is useless for the tests. You can study all you want out of the book but it's about understanding the subject.

Took this online for fall. Tough class!!!!! Even if you read the book a million times, things just don't make sense. Doesn't respond that quick to questions. Class DID however get to re-take the first two tests, i'm sure because most of us failed them. 3 test, 1 final.Unless you "get" this stuff, dont take online!!

I took this class online and found it difficult. The professor was available, however, never seemed to provide clear answers to questions that were asked. Lots of misspelled words on the tests. Found the class incredibly interesting but couldn't perform on the tests to get a good grade in the class.

Teacher is awesome! Great class! Very easy! I took the online course and every week there was 2 discussions questions due with responses or you can participate in a live chat! There was one midterm with 5 essay questions as well as a final with 5 essay questions. A matrix table was due of all the philosophers! Easy class! Would recommend this teach

Easy A. Requires participation in discussions weekly, 5 short essay answers to questions, midterm, final and one term paper. Entire class averaged 95%, pretty good since the reading is boring. Participation boards make it enjoyable howerver.

Great class and teacher. I could have got an A had I took the time to study more. The class can be frustrating, but the discussions help you to understand. The teacher offers help and answers questions. I would take another class with him.

Took class online. He was a good teacher. The tests were easy, there were only about 3 of them. He made interesting discussions and we were mostly graded on those. There were little assignments that were actually pretty fun. Overall great experience.

He is always willing to help. The quizzes are a bit challenging but nothing extremely hard. There are discussion questions (usually 2) every week and requires participation on the discussion board. I would take this teacher again if I had to. You will need to put forth effort if you want a good grade.
