Overall Jesse is a nice guy. I enjoyed the material in Adolescent Psych, but hated the class. It was discussion based, which isn't bad, but it was when Jesse would pick favorites that the class went sour. He would only choose the same 5 students who raised their hands and ignored others. The assigned seating was annoying as well.

I had Professor Lott for Psychology in my freshman year. This was hands-down my favorite class. He was very understanding and nice. He Knew his material in and out which made students want to listen to him and learn from him. He always made classes fun and included everyone in class discussions. Definitely my favorite professor of all time.

Jesse Lott is an incredible person. If you can, get into his Positive Psychology class that is offered in the spring semester. He changed my life and he's also the reason i'm a psych major. make sure you participate in his classes, thats a big percentage of your grade. it is also impossible to fail his intro class
