A GREAT PROF!! She is very helpful. At first she looks intimidating, but very nice. Reveiews before the test are identical to the exam. One presentation (easy). You have to participate in class, but she helps you with everything. Highly recommended to take her class if you want to understand spanish

Very good spanish teacher. She uses a lot of handouts but they seem to be pretty useful. The class isn't too hard as long as you keep up with it and attend class. I would definately recommend Jessica.

She is an excellent prof and I loved taking her class. I'm sad that I don't have her for 201. Try to take her if you can. She is very helpful and organized. She has reviews for every test and the tests are identical to the review just different sentences. She is the best Spanish teacher!

Take her! She is amazing! I was dreading this class, but it ended up being my favorite class! She is so helpful, however, sometimes she has trouble explaining in English. But she tries...it doesn't matter anyways because she explains well in Spanish!

I love this class. She makes it soooo easy to pass her class. Just do the reviews for the tests and study the review and you will do fine. She likes her students to speak spanish but does not require it from her lower level courses. I don't know about her upper level courses.

She's a very helpful teacher, and pretty easy to understand. She doesn't expect a lot - just that you try to learn the spanish, which is what the class is for. She's got a good sense of humor, and she'll never make you feel stupid if you make mistakes. Instead, she'll help you fix them.

Prof. Ramirez was an excellent teacher. I clearly understood her. After taking French for two years, I wasn't sure how well I would do in this class, but I did great! Her tests are very simple and right out of the book. Homework is simple and I learned a lot of things that stuck with me. Take her!

Very big on worksheets. She takes a few minutes to explain a huge topic and then you spend the rest of class doing worksheets on it. Makes it kinda hard to learn the language. She is very big on having people speak spanish in class!! she wants everyone to speak up.

she doesn't really teach. she just gives out book work and worksheets. want to learn spanish? go elsewhere. she is nice enough, but doesnt really make anyone speak spanish, nor does she care if you do or not. not really interested in students. just sits and stares all class while we do the work.
