Dr Gill is a great professor. She keeps the class engaged and she loves what she does. She does assign a lot of reading and she has quizzes almost every week. She grades the Mid-Term and Finals very harshly and expects you to write a take-home essay in an hour.

Dr. Gill is absolutely amazing! Her multi-cultural history class is a course that should be a requirement for undergraduate programs. She is energetic & passionate & it shows in her lectures. Course materials are relevant and interesting. Good amount of reading, take-home essay exams, quizzes and short writing assignments. You will learn the truth!

Dr. Gill is an extremely energetic professor who really knows the material she is talking about and explains it quite lucidly. Highly recommend her. Its a college class, so expect a lot of reading, with reading quizzes, but they are all worthwhile. Excellent professor, very helpful and engaged.

Best professor I've ever had. Knowledgeable and passionate about what she teaches. Makes history very interesting. Not an easy class, but challenging and extremely worthwhile. The only class I've been in where I never looked at the clock.

Awesome teacher! I have honestly always thought history a bore, but I loved her class. I have never seen someone as passionate about history as Jill. Would highly recommend if you have to take a history class! There are online quizes and the tests are a little hard, but if you take good notes you'll do fine
