Not an easy A but definitely an easy B I went to every class which wasnt much because she cancelled class all the time. But i ended up with a B without reading any of her novels and just taking notes in class. Online HW was dumb but helped with exams. You really teach yourself and she talks about what you already learned online Very boring but easy

I definitely loved her! Attendance isn't mandatory but it's definitely recommended. No textbook but assigns 2 books to read (both very interesting). She is funny and speaks her mind. We did miss class various times, but I didn't mind. Very straight forward, her exams are very straightforward and there are no surprises if you do everything you're suppose to. By far the best professor in the CJ department!!

also took 430. Readings are required in these classes! She uses novels not texts. Her tests tend to ask for summaries of the novels and you are supposed to use examples from them to demonstrate what you learned in class. If you can think of one specific example from the text to use to answer you will get a good grade.

By far one of the best & my favorite at CSUF. She is the only one in the criminal justice field that doesn?t use power point. She got us to watch real life movies & read over older cases. It is a class about opinions so if no one in your class talks then your experience will probably be a sucky one. Speak up so she actually has a class to engage.

There is no textbook for the class. You will have to read 3 other books she assigns. There will be an essay Q on the test about the books. She shows lots of videos. & yes, she does cancel classes - which you have to love especially if it's a morning class! But because there is no book - it's in your best interest to Attend the class to get the info

Not the educational experience I had hoped for. Cancels class without notice and is vague about what she expects from essays. She does not lecture as much as other professors, but her test questions are mostly based on the videos she showed us. I do not recommend this professor.

She is a wonderful teacher although she cancels class many times but she has lots of great personal experiences that she relates to class. Amazing videos that she plays in class & gives out lots of extra credits. If u r looking for an easy A class take her. I took her class & loved it.

This professor is a joke. Her vhs tapes from the 1980's and notes cards from 1965 is a pathetic approach to teaching women and crime. Don't waist your time on any of her classes. She doesn't bother to showed up to half the classes anyways.

She needs to retire. We read the books and never used or went over them. Had one test which was vague as to what we needed to study and one paper. WE ONLY HAD 9 classes for the semester. Learned nothing. Avoid her

Welcome to Dr. Rosenbaum's class of confusion. Her class is mostly on videos of battered women, which she is obsessed with. With four long useless novel also on women that are raped. Two essay exams with vague questions, you don't know what she expects on the essays.

Well another semester, another B. Jill is an awesome professor, and very laid back. However don't take her complacency lightly, if you don't do the assigned readings, don't expect to pass the class.

She is scatterbrained, a bit unorganized, ALwAyS late to class (if she does show up)buuut, I think she is interesting and has a lot of personal stories to tell that coincide with the lecture. Read the books she assigns and then apply them to the theories you study...

Well.........if you are looking for an easy A you found it. I don't know how many times I felt like I was wasting time in this class. She does however, not believe in boring textbooks and teaches the class through non-fiction novels and relating them to theory. A good class, but I wish she would have been more passionate about it.

I loved this class and Rosenbaum is just awesome. I waited taking a class from her and I wish I could take more. She knows her stuff. We didn't have a text book but novels which went right along with the course. It was a great class and I would suggest taking it. She didn't talk a lot, mostly videos, but when she did, it was important.

Crime & deliquincy, easy class 1) if you're intrested in the subject matter, and 2) while attendance is not mandatory alot of the information on the tests comes from the lecture. And you HAVE TO read the books assigned to pass the tests.

By far the worst class I've taken. If you're a raging feminist you should fair well-should've been a womens study class. She's unorganized & flighty. Her grading style sucks-no way to track your grade. Tests are unfair-nobody knew what she wanted. Lectures are unclear/unfocused. What a waste of an elective...phooey.
