Bad news guys, she's no good. Had her for Business Policy and Strategy. the only "real" grade was the midterm, I got an "A". Entire trimester was a huge, worthless group project. I did soo much of my best work on it. Never saw how she graded the project, or what the grade was on it. Bam! Checked my final grade online... "C"

If you want to sit in class and be spoon-fed information from the book, do not take a Slomski course. You learn by doing, by repetition, and through projects/in-class activities. She knows the material 7 ways from Sunday, and will help you if you ask. She expects a lot from her students, but then again, so do employers. Take her classes!

I have had her for several classes. She is a FANTASTIC teacher. Her style is different, but that is because she treats her students like adults and therefore expects you to act like one. If you listen to her and do as she says you will do great in her classes. If you are a slacker, she WILL notice.

Ms. Slomski is awesome!Class is never boring, and she is very straightforward about what will be on the tests.Informal group projects, a few at home assignments and 3 tests make up the course. 8 am class, so we had "Business Breakfast" every Friday & discussed consumer news.Business starts at 8, I love this class, and there's nowhere I'd rather be!

shes very crazy and fun and keeps you interested. she goes through the book like boom, boom, boom. she doesnt really cover the book, she just follows the chapters with her notes. she doesnt waste time with the book but can talk forever about stories and other things (related to the class). i enjoyed her class and have her for other classes!

The subject is interesting, but her class is pretty worthless. You have to read the book and teach yourself everything. The tests aren't super-easy, either. She will assign homework and small projects, but it seems like you never turn them in. Very disorganized.

You basically have to learn everything yourself by reading the book. Class time is a complete waste. She relies heavily on her work-study/intern students to make up review sheets, etc. The tests and project aren't very easy, but you still come out feeling like you didn't learn anything.

Retail Management is relatively interesting, but quite disorganized. Tests, assignments, and projects are sprung on you. Only 2 weeks were allotted for large a term project (about 30-40 pages). But she does give you study guides for tests and is pretty helpful if you ask questions. Plus see her if you're looking for a job or internship!

Slomski is the most amazing teacher in the business school...she is so helpful and her test are pretty easy if you study, she usually tells you exactly what is on it (like exactly). she makes class fun and entertaining and even though it is usually at 8am she'll keep you awake.

I suggest taking her for principles of marketing. The tests are pretty easy if you study, although they're mostly short-answer (a few T/F). Lots of group work which isn't too hard. She is a bit disorganized - you're never sure what's going to be covered next. Plus it seems that she doesn't grade much of the work you do. Very willing to help!

Some may call her spastic- but at 8:00 AM you need it! She always kept us awake shich is good. We also went to the Caf a lot in the mornings which helped break up the class. Lots of group work and talk about shopping. She loves chocolate- just incase you need some extra credit. I loved this class!
