Awesome instructor!!She was very helpful and understanding especially for those in the military.Lots of reading but also entertaining.You only do 3 in-class essay(extremely easy) and you write 3 papers with 1 reasearch papers. The papers are easy but ALOT of pages to write. Research kinda hard and you MUST work on it the day of class;seriously.

Fantastic teacher! I took her in Summer 09. I loved reading and discussing the essays she assigned. Her writing assignments were reasonable and very doable. She was very helpful and engaged the class extremely well. I don't agree with her political views, but I love her, and her class was a joy. Also, her kids have brown eyes much to her disdain.

The best teacher I have had to this date. Very funny! Never a dull moment. Lots of reading, but she's very passionate about it and show's you a different perspective. Very clear and very helpful. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn.

I absolutely adore professor Tucker. I took her classes 101 and 205 and received a B in both. She isn't easy, expect tons of marks on your essays when you get them back! She grades on grammar and content, so it's easy to get a good grade on a paper. She is funny and an amazing teacher! I wouldn't take an English class from anyone else!

She is a nice teacher. She makes you believe that no matter how well you write an essay, there are always some errors. I took her for both 101 and 205 and ended up with a B in both of them. Prepare the research essays well before the deadline otherwise you may see yourself in trouble. Overall, a good class. Definitely recommended!
