First CJ class ever in the university. It is taught at a 300-400 level class. After taking this class I changed my major. There is no way anyone should ever half to be stuck with this teacher. He doesn't even teach what is on the exams. His lecture is about his job at the prison, and also goes on stories about students and their lives. No.

This class sucked. He would never talk about anything that was from the book, went off on tangents every single class period. He is a nice guy but favors students. His tests are extremely hard and your grade is based on 4 tests. Nearly failed that class and not even interested in CJ anymore after that guy.

Absolutely excellent teacher! Willing to do anything and everything to help students. Focuses on real world examples and careers--not too book savvy. Very knowledgable and experienced in corrections. Somewhat intimidating at first, but truly a nice guy. I recommend taking any of his classes.

At first doesn't seem like a good teacher, but as the course continues is excellent! Takes classes to many correctional institutions around Marquette. An OK class, but Jim's an awesome person and I fully recommend his classes!
