I really liked Brimeyer as a teacher. He clearly explained and went over important things the class struggled with. I enjoy writing and his class helped me clean up my own. I would recommend taking Brimeyer for composition if you want to be graded a little harder than most will.

I've always been a strong writer but never understood all of the processes. Jim is very helpful and always makes sure you understand what is expected of you before you leave class. If you show up and do your work on time, there will be no problems passing.

Jim is probably the best professor I've ever had thus far. He makes you actually do work and makes you feel like you are actually attending a college class. I fell in love with writing after taking his Composition classes. If you want to learn how to be a strong writer, take his class.

Brimeyer is a great teacher. I learned alot in his class, but I had to work hard and still only earned a B+. If you are interested in mastering grammar, he is the teacher that will set you on the right track. Be prepared to work hard. Although attendance is not mandatory I wouldn't recommend missing class.

One of the best. After the 1st assign, I asked him for help. He told me that was what the writing center was for. Later that day, he CALLED ME AT HOME to make sure I got help. I was amazed. I busted my butt in his class, and learned more than I ever learned about writing. I recently took the GRE (for grad school) and I got a 5 out of 6. Thanks Jim!

This guy is not smart. He taught us for at least three weeks about fragments and complete sentences, calling fragments 'Urkels' and complete sentences 'Arnolds'. I felt insulted to be in his class. He should not be a college professor.

He was hard, I actually took his class before and didn't get through it because of my own slacker status. So I took his three week accelerated Comp II course. I almost had an aneurysum, but it was worth it. I ended up learning more from his class than I ever learned about writing.
