Mr Medvetz has a talent for keeping the class alive and interested. He enjoyed the subject thoroughly and as a result was able to draw and keep most of our attention. It was obvious that he cared for the students and our success by the feedback he gave each individual. He encouraged community inside the classroom as well as outside. Loved it! )

Great professor when I had him in 2014. The subject was very interesting and he was effective in encouraging the class to participate in discussion and really consider the topics being discussed. Glad I had him as a professor.

Decent professor and not too difficult. His class format is interesting and unconventional-- he doesn't believe in giving lectures, but instead primarily has the students lead the calss in discussion. But he frequently will leave important questions from his students unanswered. He gets lost on tangents, has a temper, and likes to feel in charge.
