Comment:

He loves lectures because it gives him a chance to rant about himself. Randomly chooses attendance days and drops a letter grade at end of the semester if some of the class missed more than he liked. Links online extremely long and boring and was barely tested on it. Grades tests easy if you know the material but if you don't, goodluck.

Byrne has absolutely no idea what he is talking about with technology. If you want to actually learn technology, maybe take another class. If you want to just float through another class I would recommend.

He gives such LONG BORING lectures. Sometimes it's way off of what is supposed to be presented. There are no participation points nor attendants taken. His website was too long and didn't help as much but his book was pretty interesting. The study guide was not helpful AT ALL!

This class isn't very hard as long as you stay on top of the material. Go to class, pay attention,take notes and you're golden! i really enjoyed this class because i learned a lot so putting the extra effort in was worth it to me. pretty interesting material too!

Jim Byrne, he knows his material for sure. He will constantly talk about his ten year old son being smarter than you are though, and call you out if you wear a yankees hat or sit in the back of class. Overall, his tests seem impossible, bombed on the first yet finished with an A-. Just study ALL material on review and walk away with a decent grade.

I thought the first test was fair but the rest weren't! the study guides are basically useless and the links he provides on his websites are sometimes ridiculous; I do not want to read a 172 page report because the chances that you are actually going to test us on the material are slim. He is unclear about what information the tests will cover

WORST PROFESSOR EVER. I'm usually a straight A student but thanks to him no longer. Very unclear on everything, and unfortunately he's the only one who teaches this bs joke of a class.

Not too bad a class, just take notes and ACTUALLY pay attention and you'll do fine. Not the best prof, but certainly not the worst. No hw, but one huge 10-15 page paper. gave a great outline as to requirements for the paper, doesnt take as much effort as it initially seems. dont seek out this prof for a class, but dont auto. switch profs either.

Absolute worst professor at the school. Even employees say so. His kids tell him that he doesn't get good ratings but he doesnt care. He lectures about technology when he cant even work a powerpoint. I suggest u AVOID him take the online version maybe that will be easier and you have no idea what to write for notes. DONT TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!

This guy is a miserable person to take a class with. I had the unfortunate pleasure of taking two with him. He is the most boring Prof. I have ever had. I would rather have a full frontal lobotomy withOUT anesthetics than ever listen to him talk again. His grading is ridiculous he himself didn't show to class at least 8 times. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

A straight up lecture class, with your grade depending on 2 tests and a paper. So it's pretty easy to fail, especially since his expectations are vague. He is kind of a bully, so some will think he's a jerk while others will think he's funny. If you are screwing around in class be prepared to be picked on. He's smart, but way too much material.

Teacher sucks gives you a midterm and final and a 10-15 page paper. What he says in class doesnt match what is on the test. The paper is ****.. not sure what he wants on it but if its not perfect he will fail you. AVOID TAKING CLASS WITH HIM

took CJ tech, not to helpful to students, rather disorganized, nice enough guy outside of class though. he may seem like a jerk if u dont get his sense of humor. class is interesting, yet can suck to sit through all the time, esspecially because you'll show up more then him. class isnt terrible but its mandatory anyway
